Vol. 2 No. 3 (2020): Criminology and law

The Journal of Brazilian Federal District Public Defensorship (RDPDF) is extremely pleased to invite you to participate in its thematic dossier, to be published in December 2020, which will deal with "Criminology and Law".

The interdisciplinary and empirical analysis of the biases of the criminal phenomenon, which encompass the crime (deviation), criminals (deviant), victims and the social control systems, defines criminology, its theoretical and epistemological field and with unique practical perspectives for Criminal Law, Criminal Policy and related sciences. In order to foster the discussion involving the relevant contributions of Criminology to the Law, its aspects, limits and perspectives put forward by the different conceptions of accountability for deviation, people management and social control, the Journal of Brazilian Federal District Public Defensorship instigates and invites researchers to submit articles and reviews on this topic.
