Vol. 6 No. 2 (2024): Acesso à justiça, direitos e Defensoria Pública a partir da jurisprudência do STF

The Journal of Brazilian Federal District Public Defensorship (RDPDF), in its Volume 6, Issue 3 (2024), publishes works related to the thematic dossier “Access to Justice, Rights, and the Public Defender’s Office based on the Brazilian Supreme Court's Jurisprudence”.
The topic of access to justice raises significant debates about the forms of justice that are accessible, permissible, and realistically attainable by the population, particularly for socially vulnerable groups. Moreover, it seeks to explore the sociology of access to justice through the relationship between decisions of the Supreme Court of Brazil and the actions of the Public Defender’s Office.
This socio-legal approach offers a valuable framework for fostering debate and critical reflection on contemporary challenges in ensuring access to justice and realizing fundamental rights.
